My personal poem

Pele 

We have lost the greatest entertainer to set foot on football pitch 

The first magic man of World soccer in the modern era 

Many have tried to emulate him none have reached his heights 

When the world was viewed in black and white,  

Pele provided black power and grace on and off the football field 

He was the essence of black power, 

He was the fountain of Black humility and humanity 

The spark of Black spirit fighting for equality and justice 

 We will never see his like again  

We are privileged to have shared a life and a planet 

With this colossus of a man
