Hi all been in the background a few weeks watching and reading posts here’s my time line for pip hope it helps someone get a rough idea
13/10 apply for pip
30/11 assessment telephone
(Capita cancel)
13/12 telephone assessment
Very nice lady done the assessment
14/12 txt received assessment
28/12 txt no decision yet
30/12 we have awarded you pip you will get a letter In two week etc
all the txts where 8:02/09 in the morning I rang pip later that day option 6 and got the automated message saying I will recieve my first payment of £627.60 on 26/1. I’m very pleased with the way and speed this was all sorted by pip and just wish it was this easy for some others on here who’s story’s I have read I hope you all have a great new year and remember there’s always light at the end of that dark tunnel

How did you apply? by post or phone? Did you receive the PIP2 form?Thinking about this more, maybe money owed from this award will be from the date you first applied in January.0

Hi poppy it was by post I received a txt saying thankyou for applying for pip and sent the form off when it came..then zilch, it was only coming on here and seeing what was happening to other people that I reapplied 🤷♂️0

I would wait until you receive the decision letter to see when the money owed is paid from and then take it from there. You may have some idea when the money goes into your bank, which is 3-5 working days after payment was sent.
