Can anyone help? I have an indefinite disability PIP award of many years
A month before my 66 bday I rang in and was told I need do nothing as the long standing claim would simply continue
I have just checked my 30 Dec payment and it’s 2 days short which coincides exactly with my Bday
have they messed me up?
thankyou

There's no indefinite PIP awards, that was for DLA. The longest PIP award is 10 years. Either way, a PIP award doesn't just stop once you reach state pension age, it continues for as long as you remain entitled to it.Unfortunately, only PIP can tell you what's happened here so you will need to ring them when they open tomorrow morning at 9am.
Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
Telephone: 0800 121 4433
Textphone: 0800 121 4493
Relay UK (if you cannot hear or speak on the phone): 18001 then 0800 121 4433
British Sign Language (BSL) video relay service if you’re on a computer - find out how to use the service on mobile or tablet
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Thanks Poppy
I was looking at my entitlement letter which states indefinite care component and indefinite mobility component
Because it said it was all being replaced by PIP and I have already undergone the PIP assessment I took it to mean my payments were now PIP
All very complicated
I shall ring in in the morning and see what’s happened
thanks for your help0 -
When did you have a PIP assessment, was it recently?

All i know is there's no indefinite awards for PIP. Please ring them in the morning.
