Hi, my name is LixyLou! Does this message mean I don't need a face to face assessment?

Hi all, and hope you are all doing OK x
I'm not big on branching out and get overwhelmed with having to answer to people, but I have a question x i have received this today from DWP:
We've received the written report of your PIP assessment. We will write to you once we've made a decision on your PIP. As a guide you should hear from us within 8 weeks. You don't need to contact us unless any of the details you gave us have changed. Thank you.

Yes it means an assessment is not needed because a paper based assessment has been completed. A decision can now take anything up to about 12 weeks.

You are welcome @LixyLou. It is the very least you deserve.
Please don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything else we can do to support you. We are all here for you and listening to you.
Take care for now and we will look forward to, hopefully, hearing from you again soon
