Hi, pip assessment report anxiety

I’m aware this isn’t the final decision but know mostly they go with it. Would it be worth appealing against these two or is it not even worth the hassle and stress
thankyou

You can’t appeal the report. You can provide additional comments to DWP now commenting on the report if you wish to. Alternatively you can wait for the decision and then start the appeal process then by requesting a Mandatory Reconsideration of the decision.0

Hello @chelsw88. Welcome to Scope’s forum. It is great to see you have joined us. How are you at the moment?
Thanks for already finding the courage to reach out to us. I appreciate the courage it can take to reach out, especially when you are new and finding things difficult.
I can see Calcotti has already responded to your post though. Do you feel Calcotti’s response has provided you with the support you were hoping for?
Please don’t hesitate to let us know if there’s anything else we can do to support you. We are all here for you and listening to you.
Take care for now and we will look forward to, hopefully, hearing from you again soon

but as you say it’s not the final decision. I’ll just have to patiently wait. Thankyou for your reply though

Hi @chelsw88 and welcome to the community from me.
I can understand how anxiety provoking this was for you. I wonder, would it be worth seeing a different GP or changing doctors surgeries if they haven't been helpful in the past? I appreciate it's difficult to see any doctor at present due to sheer demand, but would urge you to seek support with your mental health from a practitioner if the anxiety and depression is still having a significant impact on your life.
Good luck with the outcome of your PIP claim and remember we're always about should you need support further down the line. Take care.0 -

I got awarded today low daily living which is good, it appears they stuck with the A/R (physically they’ve understood but mentally they haven’t) is it worth doing a M/R for the parts I genuinely believed (based on above) would be awarded or not even bother?0 -

It sounds extra confusing with it being a new award @chelsw88. Please don't hesitate to let us know if we can do anything else to support you0
