To be entitled to SSP from your employer you'll need to have earned an average of £123 per week. https://www.gov.uk/statutory-sick-pay/eligibilityNew style ESA can be claimed if you've paid the correct amount of NI contributions in tax years 2020/21-2021/22. If you claim SSP then the ESA can't be paid at the same time. You can check your NI contributions here. https://www.gov.uk/check-national-insurance-recordThere's also Universal Credit but it's means tested. If you live with a partner you'll need to claim as a couple and your joint circumstances will be taken into consideration. If you have savings/capital of more than £16,000 you're excluded from claiming. You can use a benefits calculator to check entitlement. https://www.entitledto.co.uk/benefits-calculator/Intro/Home?cid=837e324f-8ebd-4c3f-9d23-2fa83999ce09If you claim UC then you can report your health condition when you claim, supported by a fit note within 7 days of that. You will then be referred for a work capability assessment. If you claim ESA and UC together the ESA will be deducted in full from any UC entitlement.

I'm not sure you would be entitled to ssp due to min earnings requirement if you only work 10 hours0
