I recently was awarded LCWRA. My first fit note was sent on June 29th 2022, I was awarded LCWRA on December 9th 2022. I get paid UC every 23rd. I have just got my statement for UC this month & have not got the payment yet. Does anyone know when I would get this payment? Thank you

There's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time and the extra money is paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note.Based on the information your waiting period will be July to Oct... LCWRA starts from assessment period Oct 17th to Nov 16th and first payment should have been Nov 23rd 2022.This is assuming you continued to send in fit notes without any gaps until a decision was made on your work capability assessment. If you did then put a note on your journal under the payment section and tell them that your calculations tell you that your first payment should have been X date.0

So that means there's a gap in your fit notes. You're supposed to continue to send them without any gaps until the decision is made on your WCA.This explains why you haven't yet received your first payment. The waiting period will likely start from the assessment period in which the decision was made. This means your waiting period will now be Dec to March.. LCWRA starts from assessment period March 17th to 16th April and first payment will be 23rd April 2023.1
