Yes, LCWRA is part of UC and is completely different to PIP. PIP isn't means tested.

Welcome to the community @south28 :) I can see that poppy123456 has answered this for you already. As they've said, you can certainly claim both. Do you claim any benefits at the moment?

Feeling good. Have a letter today for a phone assessment. Does that mean I've scored well? I'm still learning  how to use this forum so forgive the slow replies.

You won't have scored anything yet. It means you have a phone assessment (like the work capability assessment) You'll be asked various questions abot your health conditions and how they affect your daily life. If you kept a copy of the form you returned you should have a read of that before the assessment. The assessment can last anything from 20 to 120 minutes.

Once the assessment is completed the assessment report will be written and returned to DWP. From that a decision maker will make a decision on your claim. Once the decision is made you will be contacted. After the report is returned a decision can take anything up to about 12 weeks.

Telephone appointment complete. Not sure it went well... found the lady a little rude, call lasted 1 and half hours but I don't feel like everything was covered

How long do decisions generally take? I did the online assessment scoring thing and that says I scored enough to get an award.

From when the report is returned to DWP a decision can take up to 12 weeks.

Would that be the PIP online test? If so then this isn't reliable at all unless you full understand the PIP descriptors and why they mean. I'm not saying you're not entitled because i have no idea how your conditions affect you.
