Hi, I'm hina! My carers allowance has been suspended pending evidence of my earnings?

I don't know i cant get my carer allowance until i send my earning detail. I know that they can see how much money i am earning

    Hi There  my name is Jaide and I'm a member of  Scope I also one of the volunteers who volunteers at one of Scopes shop I do it through another agency. However I like to do other work with Scope so I have decided to come on this forum to get more of an understanding of Scope. I will see you mostly in the coffee room where we can take part in games together and have fun.     Have they suspended your carers allowance because they've asked you to send them details of your earnings? If so then you will need to send them what they've asked for. It's not their responsibility to check what your earnings are.

    I understand your point but my point was how can i send them my earnings details if they haven't sent me one, i am also had cancer operation recently  and going for radiotherapy soon so its difficult me to remember and send it to them

    What haven't they sent you? If there's any changes in your earnings then it's your responsibility to report those changes.

    Please visit this government webpage for details on how to contact the Carer's Allowance department if you are confused as to what is expected from you at this point.

    Your employer is supposed to give you a payslip every time they pay you. If for some reason you haven't got these they going CA copies of your bank statements may be OK.

    Depending on your NI record for 2020-21 and 2021-22 you may be eligible for new style ESA which will pay you more than CA (your CA will be stopped). Because of your treatment you will automatically be put in the Support Group (although you'll still be sent a health form you will be able to ignore most of it).

    Alternatively, depending on your household, finances including those of a partner if you have one you may be better off on Universal Credit, A benefits calculator will give you an indication.
