You can either request it on your journal by stating which group you think you should be placed into and your reasons why.Or you can write the letter and send it in the post. Or fill out a form.Full details here, which includes a link to the form https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/universal-credit/problems-with-your-payment/challenging-a-universal-credit-decision-mandatory-consideration/
If you’re outside the 1 month deadline you will need to make sure you tell them why you didn’t request it within the first month.0 -
It says it's easier to call do i call number on decision letter0

It maybe easier but it’s always better to put it in writing as I advised. If you have access to a journal then you can just do it on there but make sure you state it’s the MR.If you ring the helpline to request it then there’s no guarantee they will type what you ask them to.0

Yes you need to tell them if you think you should be awarded either LCW or LCWRA and why. You can see the descriptors for LCW here. https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/universal-credit-uc/uc-faq/limited-capability-for-workLCWRA here https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/universal-credit-uc/uc-faq/limited-capability-for-work-related-activity
As I advised previously, if you’re outside the 1 month timescale then you need to tell them why you didn’t request it within the first month. You have 13 months to request it.To be honest, I wouldn’t want a work coach to help me with the MR process.0 -
