Music has played a big part when I've been at my lowest and Alexa is one of my team of MH doctors ... what are you listening to. This song got me through the darkest days

Beautiful song @WelshBlue.
Music can definitely help with MH 🎶
I have many songs that help me through low times
and ‘Wanderer’s Lullaby’ is one of them.

@kat23 ... that is haunting. In a good way. Music can salve the soul
For pure emotion ... and coming out the other side
Kaz Hawkins - Lipstick and Cocaine. She is absolutely fantastic live. That's the one thing that I miss because of 'life' ... going to gigs

What a great thread!
Music has got me through some really tough times but nothing has touched me more than this one - a song my Autistic daughter's friend told her to listen to.. ❤️
(I can't listen to it without being tearful!)
I hope you enjoy it too..https://youtu.be/Vyjq5SCbjQk

Kurt Cobain - Pennyroyal Teahttps://youtu.be/4dcIPGzxsl8
He mentions the great Leonard Cohen, who himself as a poet and musician has been an absolute saviour of mine.3 -
@Luna51... great track. I like threads like this because you can be introduced to stuff you may never have heard. Like that one
@katz23... if I had the choice of no telly or no music ever again... bye bye TV. My tastes go from Punk to Country. Currently alternating between Pale Waves, Melanie Martinez and Don Williams as I attempthttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfPZ6hukcw8

I agree, music is better that tv - not unless you can watch and listen to YouTube music on the tv.
It would seem that you have a wide genre of music too.
I loved punk from a very young age. My parents hated it. 😂
Ramones - Sheena is a punk rocker.

My daughter sent me this video in 2021 when I was suffering terrible MH issues.
Nightbirde - It’s okayYou might need a tissue but the video is inspirational.https://youtu.be/rq4RB6v51E4

Never heard this before - I love it !!!
I like you choice of music 🎶I have family in Arizona and have always wanted to visit them - now a lost opportunity, unless I win the lottery 🙏1 -
I still love the Linda Ronstadt version, it's a shame what's happened to her. From Google: Ronstadt was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2012. Her condition was rediagnosed in 2019 as also having progressive supranuclear palsy, an incurable degenerative disease. Under either name, her singing career came to an abrupt end and her life was profoundly changed.0

LH have a special place in my music collection, I hope they come back to the UK and tour again..
Wow! family in Arizona, that's really something. I hope you manage to visit them one day AND hopefully, win the lottery!! 😉
