Working while receiving PIP

If you work at home (freelance) occasionally and typically earn less £50 a week and nothing has changed in your medical circumstances, do you have to inform DWP that you do this freelance work? I read two different sources that said you didn’t, but I just wanted to clarify here.

    You do not need to tell PIP you’re working because working has nothing to do with PIP. The links above are correct. 

    However, when you have your review if the work you do contradicts the reasons why you’re claiming PIP then there could be issues.

    Is there a maximum limit to an individual's earnings while still being eligible for PIP?

    No. There’s no savings limit either.

    I was never asked about work at my initial assessment....and this time round my review was done by the DM who rang to ask 2 questions...neither about my work
