Hi, my name is sewgirl! Receiving PIP and State Pension

I want to say hello and ask  How many of you are in my position being severely disabled and receiving PIP and also on state pension.
I receive a small personal pension which takes me just £11 pm over the cut off for being eligible for pension credit. Because of this I miss out on such a lot of help . I wish I were given £0 pension credit because then I would be entitled to dental care, more help with energy costs.
I am not so mobile but I am scared to death of putting my heating in.
Why is this group ignored. One lady at HMRC told me I was very well off when I discussed any entitlement to pension credit.

I cannot financially manage and I suspect others are the same .

    Does your PIP include the daily living part? Do you live a lone? or with a partner or any other adults?

    If you live with a partner or other adults do they also claim a qualifying disability benefit such as PIP daily living, DLA mid/high rate care or AA?

    I don't know why you would speak to HMRC regarding pension credit because DWP administer this, not HMRC.

    I wouldn't advise anyone to speak to any DWP call centre for benefits advice. When you ring any DWP department you're speaking to someone from a call centre and they have very little benefits knowledge. You're much better off getting a full benefits check from an advice agency local to you.     Are you willing to answer the questions that poppy asked ( this is to check whether he could be entitled to a Severe Disability Premium in your PC calculation).
