I think more like several months is the norm at the moment. If you're waiting 3 months then that's quite quick. If an assessment is needed then you'll be contacted.

I knew you'd be the person who would know @poppy123456
I read here quite often that a lot of people are waiting for some time for assessments etc so I will be patient and wait it out..
Thanks again and have a nice evening 😊1 -
You're welcome and thank you. You too0

I just wanted to share some good news..
My daughter has been awarded LCWRA (via a paper based decision) we literally just got the notification now from UC.
I am so relieved, it's been on my mind daily and now we can relax about this.
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to help me.
This forum has been a lifeline and I will not forget the kindness shown to me here ❤️0 -
Me again..
One more question and I promise to stop pestering you all..
I reported my daughter's health condition on the 20th October 2022.
Her assessment periods are from the 20th-19th of each month and her payment date is the 26th -
Is she owed any backdated pay please? And we've also had two cold weather payments during this time, should I ask for these to be added in too?
Thank you so much again0 -
That's great news! There's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time and the extra money is paid from the 4th month after you reported her health condition. Her waiting period will be Oct/Nov, Nov/Dec, Dec/Jan.. LCWRA starts from AP Jan 20th to Feb 19th and first payment will be 26th Feb. No LCWRA element is owed.Yes, she'll be entitled to the CWP now because i know she's not working.1
