My EMDR starts in earnest on Friday and we're going to be establishing my happy/safe place to bring me back from the Trauma. My psychologist has set me homework of grounding myself with 2 hours of music a day so I'm going through my back catalogue ... who doesn't love Mongolian rock music ..

Helps keep me distracted although can make me a bit nostalgic for my youth!1 -
@ShirleyW ... definitely a fan of those. All except Led Zeppelin. I've never really 'got' them. (Or The Beatles TBH)
Just got off the phone to my daughter ... in 4 years of training and working as a paramedic she's now attended 9 suicides including today. The young ones always get to her.
This song is for her. Battled through sexual assault as a child, self harming and eating disorders
CAMHS were fantastic and I'm so proud of her. If only everyone could get the help they deserve in a 'civilised' country
