Adding this here because I’ve been lurking for a while and I know this place has been comforting to me while I’ve been waiting for my decision.
Today I received a phone call from DWP saying they’ve awarded me enhanced rate daily living and standard rate care.

Applied for pip: 23 August ‘22
Video assessment booked for 17 December ‘22 (postponed due to hearing difficulties and the video system not working) stated I needed a video call and not a phone call
Video assessment booked for 6 January ‘23 (postponed again due to the video system lagging) asked for a face-to-face appt instead
Phone call assessment booked for 30 January
Went to see my friend who’s a support worker. She said she would assist me with my phone call so that it didn’t need to be postponed again
Assessment completed 30 Jan ‘23. Very positive assessment - assessor said she would be fighting for me to get the help I need
Report received by DWP 6 Feb
