Thanks it’ll be lovely a wee baby to cuddle again ❤️@Amberpearl
Hi I hope your ok, I know it’s easy for me to say but trying not worry, I imagine it’ll be a standard letter and probably doing a random check, or could be checking a lot off people.
Take care ❤️1 -

Aww bless such a lovely age, I bet she’s spoiled rotten ❤️It’s part tattooing and part permanent make up, it’s quite expensive it can vary in price I paid £200, my daughter actually halved me so I could get it.
But it’s definitely worth it mines was done nearly 2 years ago and still there, I feel I need a top up but that won’t be near as much money.
Take care ❤️1 -

Hey all just fill like venting just need to get 1 or 2 things off my mind. Last 2 days have been mentally hard for me at my work I have had some very challenging customers in at their own crisis point. First was a lady with a young son but she has terminal cancer and has at most 8 months left as her body is shutting down, she is terrified about telling her son but is trying to get support and arrangement's for her son before she dies, I advised homeless customer's and been that shoulder to cry on as well as got hugs when got them InTouch with homeless support and off the street and into a hotel with a support worker, and customers released from prison with no support who were shuved into a single room with nothing in it . No bed, blankets, cooking equipment , electric or heating or water nothing. And they want to go back to prison. And had the regulars in with their struggles. It's been a bit hard. Sorry if this upset anyone I just needed to vent hope I have not broke any rules3

Oh @emancherry33 how hard is that for that lady
Is anyone helping her to find support for her son for when she leaves. That is an awful situation to be in. I hope she can find what she needs.
Your doing a great job and your not venting, its good go get support for you too, to continue the support your giving, we'll done you.
Its hard isn't it to not be able to wave magic wands and make everything OK again.1 -
@sandy_123 yes we have told her to get in touch with McMillan, she does not come from this country, her husband wants nothing to do with her and her family got killed in Afghanistan in some war or tribal aggression.0
-
Oh that's so sad @emancherry33, she needs a social worker as well, definately macmillan. I feel so sorry for her son. I wonder if they have an Afģan community hub near by so she can get support there too0
-
She finds it very difficult to talk to anyone about her situation it took over a month to open up to me and my work mates we don't put pressure on her as it has taken so long for her to open up I'm sure there is a Afghanistan community down here see them walking about town.0
-
She has to now as sadly time is against her. Its hard for you and your colleges but at least she sees you all as someone to turn to. She really needs that support from different agencies and her son.0

@emancherry33 i agree with Sandy it's not a rant, sounds like you do a very rewarding job albeit sad to meet the people with their difficult lives, it is very sad in this day and age, i couldn't do your type of work, the people would never be out of my mind, it does make me appreciate my own and my family's life.
Enjoy your day all and stay safe. xx2 -
