Good afternoon everyone I didn't get to the bingo this morning so I had a de clutter in my PJs so I ended up having a PJs day @SueHeath1
-
Sorry you never got to bingo @durhamjaide2001 Nothing wrong with a PJ day 😊1
-
Eaten too much!1
-
Oh bless you @katz23 how did you do that if you don't mind me asking?1
-
@durhamjaide2001 - I‘ve got weird eating habits - I go through times of not eating hardly anything which can last months and then I binge.
I got bad cholesterol results at last check up and high blood pressure- so for the last wk I stopped smoking and have been using Elf Bars.
I have been eating really healthy meals for last week (which is much more than I usually eat even tho only 1200 Cals a day.)
The shops have cleared their shelves of Elf Bars (they’ve been banned) So I got a big round carrot cake a huge bag of crisps and ate lot. And got some cigarettes. Now I’m so angry with myself. 😡 😖
I WILL start again tomorrow 🙏1 -
Was going to say the elf bars have been pulled off the shelves. Maybe a vape pen be better1
-
Aww bless you I know how you feel as I'm calorie restricted so it means I'm supposed to stick to 1200 calories a day but I struggle with anxiety and my autism.1
-
My son-in-law is going to let me know what he is using. I so want to stop smoking. I’ve smoked since I was 13 so it hard. I enjoyed the elf bars. Then when I had a cigarette it was horrible.1
-
There lots of different ones out there1
-
Time to get testing @Sandy_1232
-
It's great to hear you want to stop smoking @katz23
Have you checked out the NHS website for information?1 -
Thank you @Hannah_Scope
Yes I have tried the NHS but I failed (got a lot of stress in my life right now)
I will try again though.1 -
It may also be worth speaking to your pharmacist @katz23 they'll have knowledge on what has been the best seller or has better results across all the gums, patches, inhalators...etc.
If you ever want to chat or vent we are here1 -
Aww @Hannah_Scope, thank you.
I’m prepared to try anything. It’s a lot to do with had to mouth habit as much a nicotine addiction.

I've read many comments about that too, the habit of holding one. I had a friend who for her, likened it to breaking the nail biting habit.

Bye for now might be on again later1
