I have children and grandchildren living in Africa and the Far East. If I am absent from the UK for a period of 13 weeks I will lose my DLA benefit. Will I lose my benefit if I am absent for 7weeks , return to my home in the Uk for 2 or 3 weeks and then absent abroad for 8 weeks? Anyone with a similar experience?

For DLA it's 13 weeks and it doesn't matter how many times a year you go out of the country for. Are you claiming any other benefits? because they will have different rules.
