Hi everyone. Starting the day with coffee and vitamin water as usual (I take a multivitamin as I'm deficient in vitamin d and iron otherwise.) No plan today, can't decide whether to do more PhD reading or let it be a writing/thinking day instead. I suppose we'll see. Take care all <3
Vitamin water sounds easier do supermarkets sell it x
Sorry Ada I mean the little tubes of effervescent tablets you can get! You just drop them in water, I have orange flavoured ones and it goes bubbly. My latest ones are from Boots but I know they sell them in Sainsburys etc as well x

    Warning Completely Moaning.

Haven’t been on all day. Because last night during play my restless legs syndrome started yet again until 7am yep 7am this morning.
It’s completely draining right up there with my other stupid demons. I have had this problem for over thirty years.
When It first started I could afford weekly acupuncture which would help with other demons and keep them at bay from one week to the next week. It was fabulous.
But once I spent all my savings I had to suffer.
It normally comes on unexpectedly once or twice a week with few weeks in between. Yet I’m getting it every pooping night. From a hour or like last night All night.
I don’t cry. I hold my head in my hands and the noise that comes out of my mouth you would think I was having a baby. Lol.
Its combination of pain shaking and mental torture
after thirty years I should be use to it but it’s hell itself.
Not slept at all yet. So pretty tired won’t sleep until meds work later. If legs don’t start again tonight.

Mum gets restless legs. Apparently quinine is supposed to help, if you like tonic water
    Hi @JoOfVengerberg yes
@janer1967 and @sueheath advised me about tonic water ages ago. But the ingredient you speak of is actually bad for my heart.
But thank you for caring does your mum use tonic water does it help her. Of all my demons I would choose my spine tumours pain over restless legs every time. It’s wicked how it sends you insane

Sorry to hear that Ada :( mum doesn't drink it because she doesn't like the bitter taste, so she just puts up with it as well :( If I see anything else that might help I will let you know!

I'm going to the theatre tomorrow night but I am fighting the urge to just not go because of the crowds and stuff. I'm looking forward to the play just not sitting between strangers.

I absolutely love Neil Gaiman and Ocean is my favourite of his novels (on par with Stardust) so I will definitely go I just need to get over my initial panic reaction. I hate that I do that now. I used to perform on stage and stuff but now I get shaky at even the thought. Maybe I can do something about that, idk. <3

Having a lovely cup of tea that hubby has just  brought up for me.

I do love the 1st cuppa of the day. Is it just me or is the first cuppa of the day is the best?
