LCWRA backdated payed

Hi there I’m new to this I started handing in sick notes feb 2022 and had my LCWRA assessment Thursday last week and have just been told I passed it today Feb 21 2024 will I get backdated money and also how long does this usually take if I qualify for it?

The extra money will be paid from either June or July 2022. The exact date it's paid from will depend on what date exactly you sent your first fit note and what date you usually receive your money each month.This is assuming you sent a fit note the whole time without any gaps and you're not claiming UC with a partner that already receives the LCWRA element on your claim.It often takes quite a few weeks to pay what is owed and will be paid separately to your usual monthly money.0

thanks for you’re reply and help… i have not missed any sick notes in between this time I also get payed on the 3rd of every month so I have to ring up about it or will I be payed automatically?0

Before they can pay what is owed they will need to recalculate your past statements to work out what you've already been paid against what you should have been paid. You will then receive a letter on your journal telling you how much they owe and then it will be paid into your bank. You don't need to ring them, you just need to wait.0
