Really confused 😐

Hi I’m new to the site, seeking advice, so myself and partner currently claim uc with a care element and lcwra element (lcwra is for partner)
I have been his carer for quite some time, recently my own health is not good I have just had a work capability assessment and awarded lcwra also in the process of applying for pip,
from what I can gather we will not be entitled to anything additional as we already have a lcwra element and care element in place on our joint claim?

Can anyone advise if this correct?

Yes, you're correct. You can only receive one LCWRA element per claim. As you're also claiming carers element then you're already receiving your maximum UC entitlement.

No because your partner already receives the LCWRA element for their self and the same person can't be paid both carers element and LCWRA element at the same time.

As i advised, you're already claiming your maximum UC entitlement with 1 carers element and 1 LCWRA element.
