Good afternoon/evening @Ada and @durhamjaide2001.1

My day so far has been learning that all corners of the internet are the same. I thought Scope would be a safe, peaceful haven, somewhere to forget the stresses of everyday life. Wrong.
To be wrongly called a 'bigot' here just for having an opinion on the world, is dangerous on so many levels.
I'm 56 and never have been and never will be a bigot
In fact the opposite. An example is being arrested for putting hands on a trio of youths who thought it funny to film themselves bullying and intimidating a lad I later found out was autistic.
I would have done the same for anyone finding themselves in a 3 on 1 just for 'sport'
Regardless what people have going on in their lives, bandying accusations like that is harmful
Over and out until I decide if this is the place I want to hang out0 -
Hello everyone. I have been speaking with @Hannah_Scope and as what has upset me is being dealt with I will stick around. Thankful to mods
Will probably stick to this thread in future though. @Ada I am not able to PM you it comes up with permission problems and tells me your profile is private. @durhamjaide2001 @SueHeath @Teddybear12 I have probably missed some people out sorry, I've just got back from town and very tired/in pain. I hope your afternoons have been lovely.

Hi everyone I finally changed all the covers on my sofa ( my bed ) and chairs today been meaning to for a week. At the risk of being a bore it really hurt to do. But at least it’s done for now.1 -

Ada said:I lived in Bournemouth in my early twenties for work. 2min walk to beach. I’ve always lived my the coast from firstly from Penzance to all over for work. Then after forced to stop work and spent all savings had to move because couldn’t afford to live by the coast on benefits. And I have been very sad ever since very very unhappy.
I would love to be standing by the sea right now in the freezing cold. With only a year to live against staying here with up to five years to live.
It may be cold but there’s no true fresh air. I live in a valley and I call it my coffin. We don’t drive I cannot use public transport am locked in this valley no family no friends no life.
Rant Over1 -
Ouch just had a fall I wouldn't mind I havnt had a drink0
-
Hope your OK @Sandy_123 and not hurt yourself. How did you manage to fall0
-
I noticed my son hadn't shut the loft door fully so got a long stick to close it over, propped stick up and went flying over it. Hurt my hand and feet trying to stop myself and ended up bashing side of my face in to the door frame, be a few bruises tomorrow I think0
