Back payment

Hi 
I won my tribunal back in January and won thank fully. I am owed 14 months of back pay and called today to see how long it will be. I was told it had been with debt management for 5 day and usually takes 6 days to come back. I owe tax credits just over £3’000 I have been paying this back via UC and it was £6’000, will they take the back pay to clear the remaining £3’000? Thank you for all your help
