Which mobility scooter ?

I am looking for a little advice on a replacement mobility scooter
I currently use a Pride Apex rapid - which has a heavy Lead Acid battery - my wife really struggles to disassemble it and put it in the car boot.
I need one with a lithium battery - I have seen a Motion Healthcare Alumina (£1500) and a Veluimi Lithium (£1850)- at my local mobility shop - both of which are about half the weight of my Pride.
Anyone use either of these ?
Any advice welcome

    I've had a couple of those scooters and for me they are just too heavy, even with the lithium batteries. It's too much work to take the scooter apart to put them into the car and by the time i've done that i'm too tired for anything else.  If i had another scooter it would have to be an electric folding one.

    As Poppy123456 has mentioned, an electric folding one could be better for you & your wife. I use a power chair, but my sister has a Smarti & it is a brilliant, you just press the fob button to open & close it, plus doesn't take up a lot of room in the boot.
