Hi @kezzabyrne85 welcome to the forum. Hopefully you get your meds sorted soon and feel a bit better once you take them. Can be tiring looking after a family also.
Take a look around the site and join in with conversations and games if you would like to.0 -
Hi and welcome to the community
You are not alone you have a family and must be hard bringing up 6 kids so I get you feel tired even without the condition you are dealing with you deserve a medal
I'm surprised the pharmacy didn't arrange an emergency prescription as a temp resolution they can give a weeks supply of meds you are prescribed regular
Anyway hope you get back on track with them and you start to feel better0 -

Hello @kezzabyrne85
You are never alone, you always have us!
Have you thought about getting a second opinion from another GP in regards to treatment for your thyroid?0 -
Oh, @kezzabyrne85! They say volunteers help community members but I have never felt more seen or represented than in your thread. It sounds like you are in a very similar place to me at the moment.
I would like to say I get what you are going through. However, that cannot ever be fully true because we each experience this differently and you also have 6 children to look after. What I can say is I can only empathise with you and I hear you.
It sounds like the prescription delay really hasn't done you any favours and I hope you have the things you need to feel better soon. Those things will look different for each of us but I am sure by now you have a 'toolbox'.
If you want to talk through what your 'toolbox' might look like I am here for you. You are not alone, even if you may feel alone. I can extend a hand, an ear and a space to talk about this as much as you wish to0
