What was everyone's favourite fad product from childhood?

What was a  favourite or least favourite if you prefer product/toy from your childhood that ended up being a fad and overhyped? 

I loved the tamagotchi ( virtual pet) and me and my school friends actually buried them when they died

    They still sell them but they've cheapened out massively. And nowhere near as popular

    I loved Pogs. I still have a couple of Looney Tunes ones. My cousins kids look at me like I'm from the stone age  :D

    As teenagers we had a cb radio we loved it, annoyed neighbours tho coming over their TV accasionally. Not as popular now but there is a cb radio shop by me

    As a kid, I remember my friend's older brother was always on his cb radio, we loved listening to him talking to girls as we hid outside his bedroom door.. 😂

    Can't remember it's name but there was a toy caterpillar which had hundreds of legs I wanted one when young but never got one.

    Was it the "Lots a Lots a legs Caterpillar" from the mid 80s onwards.

    Used to watch it going down the stairs. I've seen them in shops but they're plastic and rainbow coloured, where mine was silver and metal.
