I first put my fit note back in late august, then was sent forms late november and posted them out within a week.., I have yet to hear back about a work capability assessment though I do keep putting in my fitnotes non stop.
my uncle who applied had his assessment 4 months after his first fit note, is there any way I can speed up the process? I recently got adult disability payment but i’m not if that effects work capability

Some people are waiting several months, sometimes longer. You can contact the Heath Assessment Advisory Service to ask if they can give you an update on your claim. https://chdauk.co.uk/Your ADP award will have no bearing on the WCA because they are different benefits, with different criteria.

I was in the same position as you, my work coach sent me this number on my journal 0800 288 8777, they didnt really say anything over the phone but i recieved a letter detailing my assessment date/time a week later, whether its a coincidence or not i have no idea but it cant hurt if you feel comfortable making the call.1
