Employment payed me over my limit for Carrers allowance

in Start here and say hello!
Hi hello can sumone plz advise 
I have been payed £3.69 over in my monthly pay from work which has gone over the limit for my Carrers allowance 
they said do I have any expenses I can put down I don't no what to say as I'm employed 
any idea of what I can say or do thanks caroline

    How much was your monthly earnings - more than £572?

    If it was over that why did your earnings increase?

    then you need to tell CA and you are not entitled to any CA for the following month.

    Hi thank you for your reply it was over 3.69 as I get payed 12 times a year of 540 normally but this time 573.69 I found I worked a bank holiday and didn't realise I add and now got get a letter off my employer as to why I picked that amount up an they asked me if I add any expenses I can put so it gets me under the threshold . What are expenses as I have an employer ? And will my carers stop altogether or I will just owe them that month ? Thanks for your reply 😁

    Unfortunately I think you are are not eligible for CA for the month that follows the date on which you received that ‘excess’ month. They will not know this immediately but if they discover the earnings later they will retrospectively require repayment of the CA period affected.
