Awarded lcwra - fit note question

Hi, I had my wca this week and received a letter today saying I’ve been awarded lcwra.
I sent in my first fit note in November but my work coach didn’t tell me she had applied for a wca on my behalf. I don’t know whether that was done automatically because of the fit note but either way I didn’t apply for this and didn’t know it was happening until I received the letter informing me of the assessment.
Because of this coupled with the internalized ableism I have (I hated asking for fit notes, convinced I just wasn’t trying hard enough) there are gaps in supplying fit notes since then. I only recently supplied another fit note last month (21st Feb)
Does this mean I won’t start receiving any money until around June. I have no idea how this all works
thanks in advance for any info

When you report a health condition, you're supposed to send in a fit note within 7 days of this and continue to send them without any gaps until a decision is made on your WCA. Gaps in your fit notes can affect when the extra money is paid from. It will be down to a decision maker to make that final decision. The waiting period is 3 full assessment periods and the extra money is paid from the 4th month of your claim. If they go from November you'll receive the extra money either March or April 2023.If they go from Feb then it will be either May or June 2023.0

There may not be any LCWRA element owed if your first payment is this month. You can put a message on your journal to ask them when it's paid from and hopefully they will tell you.
