Hello there,
I'm on UC with LCWRA living in supported accommodation.
My child will be moving with me in June and need another place to move.
I don't have money for rent and deposit on new private rent.
What should I do ,how to add my child into my case (until now I've been claiming for a single person , myself only) and what to do generally?
Thank you in advance

It's not going to be that easy to find a privately rented home because a lot of landlords will not accept tenants claiming benefits. I'd advise you to speak to those that are responsible for your supported housing, which i assume is your local Authority and they maybe able to help you.For your child, whose claiming child benefit for them at the moment?0

My child lives with his mother , but they don't claim anything and for the moment they are abroad (Austria)0

My Housing Association runs homes for homeless people only, plus I don't wanna deal with them,
they sent me fake photos of the property before I moved in.
Basically they run slum houses

I would advise you to get some expert advice regarding your child and the child element. Advising regarding children coming from another country is beyond my knowledge and i wouldn't want to give you any incorrect advice. https://advicelocal.uk/welfare-benefitsIf you're living in supported accommodation then you will need to speak to who ever deals with that before your child comes to the UK just incase they are not allowed to live with you while you live there.

Then you should be able to claim the child element of UC if they live with you. You will need to report a change of circumstances on your journal (if you have one)Being a mother myself, you may want to think about where you will live when your child does come here. If where you're living now isn't suitable then you'll need to find something more suitable and that may not be easy.0

I know it is not going to be easy
was hoping that the local council could help me somehow.
