Hi, I had my pip appointment over the phone on 2nd December, then I had a letter on 16th December saying they are processing my claim and I just need to wait for a decision now, I'm still waiting now and I've still had no letter through with a decision, is it normal to be waiting this long? I've had my results from uc before pip and they've put me on lcwra

It can take up to 12 weeks sometimes longer for a decision. Have you rang them to ask for an update? If not then I’d advise you to do that.0

I first applied in September so it's been nearly 6 months in total, I haven't called them as they tell you not to contact and just wait but I think I will give them a call tomorrow0

Have you managed to give them a call yet @Unknown1892 and, if so, how did this go for you? Please don't hesitate to let us know how it goes and if there's anything else we can do to support you

Hi, I called them in the end and they told me my claim has been miss delayed and they put it in high priority to be checked asap and luckily they sent me a text message saying my claim has been successful and they will send me a letter in the next 2 weeks explaining my award2

That's good @Unknown1892, I'm sorry it was so delayed in the first place! How are you feeling about the news now?
