Hello Again,
As I mentioned in the beginning I have tons of questions ,
and I think I'm in the right place.
Today the problem was with my back up payment on my LCWRA.
I have been granted with LCWRA. The first payment came last month
for the period 21. January to 20 February.
I had my assessment on the 9th of January and had been informed on the 11th of February.
I've sent my questionnaire book UC50 on the 17th of December.
I have been providing sick notes from 20th of September. That's when my UC started.
DWP says that they have my notes from 3th of October , ok I'm not going to fight about 14 days , but today they told me I'm not entitled on back payments .
The gentleman I spoke to was really "POLITE" and I didn't wanted to continue the conversation because he was ready to cut me on my next question.
So please if you can give me advice what should I do next.
I'm really nervous to call them , they always make fill like lair.
Thank you All in advance

The extra money isn’t paid at all during the waiting period, which is 3 full assessment periods from when you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note. It’s then paid from the 4th month of your claim.
Based on the information you gave your waiting period is Sept to Dec… LCWRA starts from assessment period Dec 21st to Jan 20th and first payment would be Jan 27th. Therefore they owe you 1 month. Any money owed will be paid separately to your usual monthly money.0 -
Can you please explain what you mean by this?Bultico said:

Yes Poppy ,
I just checked I provided my first note on the 3rd of Oct.
So is there any chance to get back payment for the time 3.10.2022 to 20.01.2023
Thanks again

I just checked I provided my first note on the 3rd of Oct.That's not what you said in your first comment, you said you provided them from the start of your claim. This means is changes the advice given and my first advice is incorrect. Please remember that the correct advice can only be given based on the information you give.Based on the new information your waiting period will be Oct to Jan... LCWRA starts from AP Jan 21st to Feb 20th and first payment will be Feb 27th.Bultico said:

No, because the LCWRA element isn't paid at all during the wait period. If you were working and receiving any earnings then you maybe owed some money from that because of the work allowance. If you werent working then no money is owed.0 -
Thank you Poppy0
