Hi there I have just read about the new plans, about the Governments new approach plans to scrap the work capability assessments I am currently on universal credit I had a work capability assessment last December 2022 and I was placed in the LCWRA I all so claim PIP I suffer with the following conditions and have just been diagnosed with Autism ADHD Depression and Anxiety and Social anxiety disorder and paranoia I am really worried about this new plan that what if they force me to do paid work when I’m not well enough when clearly I’m in the LCWRA group I’m a risk to myself and other people due to my health problems and mental health difficulties I’m really panicking about it if I’m on pip would I automatically be kept in LCWRA group it’s confusing and distressing me a lot I no I will never ever be able to do paid work due to my Health problems and mental health difficulties because I’m a risk to myself and other people could you give me some advice to put me at ease so that I don’t worry them I will feel better about myself I’m getting very worried if they will try and make me do paid work when clearly my doctor and me says I will never be able to do paid work from Rhiannon

Hi @Rhiannon1996 - please try not to worry. Even if things were to be put in place this wouldn't be until 2026-7 or later, & there could be a change of government before then.
