Waiting for Pip decision

I applied for Pip the beginning of February. I did it online and sent the form off 17th Feb 2023. I had my telephone assessment on 20th March. I have had a text saying from DWP saying they had received it and that it might take upto 8 weeks. I know I am probably borderline on the points to receive it . What do people do while waiting for a decision. I find I am anxious waiting for it. Do they text you or write to you with their decision?

A decision can take up to 12 weeks after the report was returned.
If successfully awarded they do send texts if they have a mobile number for you. They will also send a decision letter.
They don’t usually send a text for refusals.0 -
I can hear you are feeling anxious at the moment @TwinSeeker. Would anything, in particular, support you with this and make things feel more manageable for you at the moment?1

Good News. I have had a text this morning from DWP saying I have been awarded PIP. This has been really quick as I only applied at the beginning of February and on my phone assessment they said it would take up to 8 weeks. I will have to wait for my letter to know what rate I have been awarded.5
