Hello everyone
I completed the LCWRA form a month ago and haven’t heard anything back. Surely it’s not normal to wait so long? When I applied for PIP the response was much quicker.

It can take around 1-3 months to get a response after returning a Work Capability Assessment UC50.2

Sometimes it can take several months. You'll most likely need an assessment because most people have them.

It all seems such a waste of resources as I already receive both elements of PIP at the highest rate. DWP already knows this. They only have to read the report from my consultant. 😣0

PIP and LCWRA are 2 completely different benefits and claiming one doesn't automatically entitle you to the other. LCWRA is about the work you can do and not the work you can't do. PIP has nothing to do with your ability to work.
