    What new PIP? If you live in Scotland then it would be Adult disability Payment you'll need to apply for. Have you had a decision on the claim that was made for PIP last year?

    DONT LIVE IN SCOTLAND, THIS IS THE PIP WE APPLIED FOR SINCE LAST YEAR THAT GOT TURNED DOWN 3 TIMES AND LIKE WE HAD LOADS OF PEPPER WORK EVEN THE DS FORM AND NOW THE ARE SAYING BECOUSE OF THAT FORM THEY ARE CLASSING IT AS AS A NEW CLAIM , BUT ITS THE BLOODY SAME I HAVE SAID THAT BLUE IN THE FACE THEY ARE IN THE WRONG AND THEY HAVE RELISEDE THIS AND NEED TO PAY US BACKLOG OF £7000

    I’m finding it extremely difficult to read your comments when you use capital letters because it’s classed as shouting in text speak. 

    To constantly reapply using the same evidence you previously used isn’t going to help because you’ll constantly have refusals. 

    When you start a new claim if your partner is successfully awarded then they will only receive money owed from the date of that new claim. 

    You’re not owed any money at the point because no one is automatically entitled to PIP. 

    Rather than reapplying you should challenge the decision by first requesting the Mandatory Reconsideration. (MR) If that decision doesn’t change you can then proceed to Tribunal.

    update..
    due to my partners brother suddenly passed away we are not going to procced, this is very tough going it has drained us both and now this whith her brother and the cancer.... so a big thank you all and good bye people stay safe.

    I'm sorry to hear about this @james2332 that's sad news. If you do need to, I'd encourage you to visit Cruse and The Good Grief Trust for any ongoing support with the loss of your partner's brother.

    Hello everyone,
    It has been a while since I have been on here,since the last comment we been ( TO HELL AND BACK) over the months.
    I got dianosed with diabeties in september on top of my mental health and my partner had 2 assesments over the phone and the dwp tried to have a 3rd but I put my foot down.
    When make a fresh claim it should be 1 assesment right?
    But she had 2 already and the wanted another in october 2023, anyway via st' Ann's help advice center they went for a tribunal last week.
    Well good news came and my partner won her case.... Its only taken 2 years to get a PIP.
    Hope this helps anyone out there.

    I am so glad to hear your partner won her case, I'm sorry it was such a fight! I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis too, can I ask, are you getting support?

    I would encourage you to speak to your GP about your mental health. You can even refer yourself for talking therapies if you ever want to talk to someone.

    yes my gp knows about my condition and i was with talking therapies but only last for 4 months and even in that time the person who was speaking to me i thought she was **** 3 times she just talking about her self and in septemder i got a message saying thats it no more.. WHAT A WASTE OF SPACE
    really i dont like the word " ASSEMENT"  you dont go and buy a car/ somthing ny assing it over the phone.
    you go and have a look at it, then decide if you want it, i think socity is a load of tosh and some people are just there to make out they are doing GOODY TO SHOES policy... a new rung on that ladder.
