life changing surgery in the US

does anyone have any info on the treatment available in the US for kids who suffer with cp. seen it in my local newspaper a 5yr old boy was raising money for the surgery which is costing 45,000. would like to hear back from anyone on this and whats the outcome. thanks....

    The procedure you are referring to is "selective dorsal rhizotomy" there are lots of threads about it on the forum, just put it in the search box at the top of the page to get a full listing.
