Carer element question

I reported a change to caring on my journal on 17/02/23 and haven’t received a reply regarding the cares element. 

Does anyone have an idea how long this should take?

    It shoudn't take that long. Assuming you're applying for carers element? If so to be clear did you "report a change of circumstances" then click "caring for someone"? If you did then put a message onto your journal under the payment section and ask about the carers element that you applied for in Feb.

     Yes I completed the change of circumstances and have this on my journal but still not heard any thing and no change to my payments.

    I'd advise you to edit your comment to remove your full name to protect your identity. Personal information isn't allowed on the community for your safety.
    If you're not sure how to edit then on the top right hand side on your comment box there's a little cog, click it and edit. You only have 59 minutes from commenting to be able to do this.

    Can i just check that you're not claiming LCWRA element for yourself? and the person your caring for receives either daily living PIP, DLA mid/high rate care or AA?

    Hi,

    Thank you I have edited the comment!! 

    My partner received enhanced pip daily living and mobility. He also gets LCWRA. I don’t get any of these.

    You're welcome. Thank you also! Then put the message on in the payment section because this element should have been added to your claim in the assessment period which the changes were reported.
