Hi @Joanmarywilliams welcome to scopes forum
What advice were you looking for.0 -
Woops I made a boob above I should have posted my question also. Nevertheless the problem I have is that I have been in receipt of PIP for many years previously DLA because of my disability. I have always had a certificate of entitlement for my car tax but last year when I received a letter from then renewing my PIP they forgot to enclose the certificate. I have written to them only via the Wolverhampton address for a new certificate and I have telephoned them, always to be told we will put one in the post, it never arrives. This has been going on for a year now, also no answers to my letter. My car is due to be taxed end of this month and I have telephoned again to day numerous times only to be cut off once I get through. How on earth do I actually get a new certificate please help!!!!0

A year, that's too long. We have some people on the forum with great benefit advice, who may have suggestions, only thing I can suggest is if you keep trying.0

Thank you I am but the line is still cutting people off. I wish we still had local offices.0

Hello @Sheltielover
Welcome to the community!Just to let you know, I popped your post into our transport and travel section of the forum, in case anyone else can advise.
I'm sorry you haven't been able to get in touch with them, can I ask, did you send the letter recorded?0 -
Yes Hannah I sent it recorded delivery at the time and today I have posted 2 more letters special delivery to their complaints department in Wolverhampton and Blackpool. We wait and see again. I will have to inform my MP next because I feel a year is too long to wait. Also I have tried all day on the telephone but keep being cut off as soon as zi get through.0

Contacting your MP would be a good idea! Its so frustrating the DWP doesn't have an email.
