Pip one month deadline?

Hi guys please could anyone clarify....I received the pip reward letter yesterday...it was dated as 3rd April...is the 'month deadline ' therefore 3rd May?
Also is it better to appeal via the online pdf form or just to call them?

It makes no difference really because you have 13 month’s to request it. If you’re outside the 1 month then you need to give a brief reason why you were late. If the refuse then you just proceed to Tribunal.2
