I have recently been signed off sick with unfit for work until June. Although I always thought that if you're signed off sick you don't have to attend any appointments at the job centre or anything involving the DWP. Seetec are adamant that I must attend or they will inform the job centre. They have been making my life a complete misery. This has had a serious effect on my mental health. I have been crying on and off for 6 days and I am now back to self harming. I feel bullied and harassed with the continual methods and threats that these people keep shelling out. I am also deaf have austeoarthritis, inflammatory arthritis and am at an all time low. I have asked my job adviser to take me off the programme but to no avail. I feel like I cannot take another moment with these people

Have you had a work capability assessment yet? When claiming UC you're classed as a job seeker until a decision on your work capability assessment says otherwise. It's a work coaches discretion to either turn off or reduce work commiments. Some do and some don't.Have you spoke to your work coach to tell them about your health conditions and how they are affected by having to attend appointments?0

Yes I've just filled out the form for the WCA but haven't been able to post it as yet. I shall be speaking to my work coach on a one to one appointment tomorrow (25.04.23. I'm so confused communication is bad as I am deaf0
