ESA statistics ( including reviews)

I just stumbled upon this and thought it may be of interest. I know it has been said that no support group reviews are happening. This shows they are but in a very small number about 2% of pre covid. Maybe these reviews are some kind of special circumstances I’ve no idea. Basically graph shows pre covid they were doing close to 150k reviews a quarter and last September did 3k.

So obviously backlog must be huge. It shows pre covid they did about 500k reviews a year. And obviously if you then add in new cases it’s hard to see how they catch up.0

Those review stats could have been for those that received their forms just as the first lock down started way back in March 2020.

That would be to far back surely this is September 20220

No, not at all. With the backlogs at that time it was definitely possible that some revews hadn't been dealt with. I know i received my last review form just as lock down was announced but thankfully for me i had a paper based assessment, which was done quite quickly.

Yeah I guess with the obvious backlog it does seem they would have to prioritise new cases. And the graph is still going in a downward direction so yeah maybe it was just clearing forms already sent out.0
