hi I’m wondering I used to get LCWRA payment with my UC every month but then they changed it over to ESA every 2 weeks, can I change it back to LCWRA monthly instead?

It wouldn't have been possible for them to have just changed you over to ESA because you have to claim it yourself. ESA is a completely different benefit. In a previous thread back in December you said you were claiming New style ESA and UC with LCWRA and the ESA was being deducted from your UC. Thread here. https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/99189/working-in-the-support-group-esa#latestWhat happened to your UC claim since then?

I was off sick and got sent letters from the job centre to apply for ESA I’m sure I did I can’t remember now, but then I had an assessment for LCWRA so I got that, then I got a letter off ESA saying I now got that so it changed over to ESA. I still get the LCWRA deducted from universal.
so I get ESA every 2 weeks and my UC has LCWRA payment on but then it deducts the ESA payment from that if that makes sense0 -
This means you're still claiming both New style ESA and UC which includes the LCWRA. Yes your ESA is deducted in full from your UC entitlement. This is correct and exactly what should happen. Therefore i don't understand your question because you're already claiming UC with LCWRA element.0

My question is before they gave me ESA I was getting the LCWRA and UC so the full amount monthly but now I get ESA every 2 weeks instead, I want to get it all monthly again instead lol0

To do this you will need to stop your ESA and in my opinion this isn't the best idea at all. New style ESA isn't means tested so savings/capital, a working partner and pensions of up to £85/week are all ignored.UC is means tested so all of the above will affect the amount you're entitled to (if you have savings of more than £6,000 UC reduces) although these may not be useful at the moment, you can never predict what may happen in the future.I can't tell you the amount of threads we have here with people saying they are not entitled to UC and complaining they wish they could claim New style ESA. If you stopped this then to claim it again in the future you will need to have worked at some point in the 2 tax years prior to your claim.Claiming both together at the moment doesn't change how much you receive in total. Even if you cancelled the ESA you will still receive the same amount in total.0
