Hello everyone!
I am a voluntary worker in Scope. Of course, love my job and all the staff. I have a point in my life that helps people the same as I do.
Anyway, today I get a message from DWP:
We have awarded you PIP. We have sent you a decision letter explaining the award. Please allow 2 weeks to receive this. You only need to contact us if your circumstances change.
I start my process on 27.01.2023 and I get the message today that 3 months and 5 days later.
I still time not gotten any payment and waiting for a letter.
I would ask, does that message mean I get financial support for PIP?
Nice to meet you all and I wish you lovely rest of your week.

The text message you received means exactly what it says “you’ve been awarded PIP”
Any money owed will be paid into your bank 3 - 5 working days after payment was sent. You will then receive the decision letter within the next couple of weeks.
You can also ring PIP to ask what you’ve been awarded and when to expect the money owed into your bank and they will tell you.1
