The assessment carried out on my mother appeared to be decided before they met her and the home visit also appeared to be decided beforehand with no measurements or plans discussed. My mother is very frail and cannot dress or carry out personal hygiene without help, she cannot cook or walk far using a frame, she also needs help with getting in and out of bed. yet according to adult social care she can go home with a care package yet the whole family have seen her decline and agree she needs 24 hr care, we are all being ignored by the care system and treated in an aggressive, rude and unprofessional manner. They refuse to discuss how they have come to their conclusions and what evidence they have.

Hello @Richieb and thanks for reaching out. Can I check you're talking about a social care needs assessment for your mother?
Is she receiving any benefits she might be entitled to at the moment?0
