Enhanced Disability Premium

Hi Guys

I just need help i am on legacy benefits ESA support group also receiving PIP daily living I live with partner who has limited leave to remain in UK and not eligible for benefits. While searching on the internet, i found out that i may be eligible for Enhanced Disability Premium but gov.uk says it should be included automatically. Could you please check the attached benefit award calculation as i cant see if its included in my award.

    The Enhanced Disability Premium is also referred to as the Disability Income Guarantee which you can see is included in your ESA calculation. (I have no idea why ESA usually call it the Disability Income Guarantee.)

    I note however that the EDP/DIS is being applied at the couple rate despite your partner not being eligible for benefits and I think that may be incorrect (but I am not sure).

    Thanks for your reply it is still confusing if you enhanced Disability Premium rates they are £19 for single person and £27 as couple but they awarded £25 not sure how they calculated the disability income guarantee

    That letter includes the old rates before the increase. The new rate for Enhanced disability premium is £27.90/week.

    As poppy says, the letter you posted shows the rates for 2022 (as stated on it).
