Hi I have been on the sick for a while now meaning I was off work I have been giving sick notes to support this,I left my job official in Jan-2023 I have still been proving sick notes to my journal,I’ve had my WCA and have been told I will receive LCWRA can someone help me out on when I should receive a payment I put a sick note in on the 13th Jan-2023 
I get payed on the 10th&26th
If anything else is needed to assist me please let me know

    Your assessment periods are 4th to 3rd of each month. This means your waiting period will be Feb to May.. LCWRA starts from May 4th to June 3rd and first payment will be June 10th. No LCWRA element is owed. 

    If you didn’t previously have the work allowance and you received any earnings since you sent your first fit note then they may owe you some money from this. The work allowance will apply from your Jan/Feb assessment period.

    I rung the UC people today and they have said I should receive a payment this month I’m a bit confused

    You won’t receive extra money this month based on the information you gave here. There’s a full 3 month assessment period waiting time and the extra money is paid from the 4th month. It’s not paid at all during the waiting period. 

    The helpline often give incorrect information so you should rely on that.

    Hi poppy hope your well Uc have sent me a journal note to say my decision was recorded with effect from 9/1/23. Will I still have to wait till 10th June to receive first payment?

    Yes 10th June for the LCWRA element. Your assessment periods are 4th to 3rd of each month so 4 days earlier than you said will not make any difference to the LCWRA element.

    If you were receiving any earnings and didn't have the work allowance they may owe you some money from that because the work allowance will apply from the assessment period in which you reported the changes (Jan/Feb)
