Will my esa be affected if I claim carers allowance??

Hi I need some help, I currently get esa support group and I also care for my mum every day she gets pip and uc but what I'm wondering is if I claim carers allowance will my esa be reduced? Some friends have told me it won't others say it will..

If your ESA is Income Related then claiming carers allowance will be it will be deducted in full from your ESA. They will then include the carers premium in the ESA. Carers allowance will be paid separately. You will be £42.75/week better off.
