in PIP, DLA, ADP and AA
I have been given a date for my pip tribunal hearing but due to my mental and physical health I have advised them that I do not wish to attend and wish them to asses my case from medical and other evidence provided they have said this is fine but will the case still be heard on the original date I was given does anyone have any idea on this please

    Are you aware that you can ask for a telephone hearing rather than appear in person? There's a very low success rate for paper based hearings, with only about 5-8% success rate.

    That success rate jumps up to about 70% with either a telephone, video or appearing in person. Its always in your best interests to appear because they always want to hear it from you exactly how your conditions affect you.

    As it's a paper based hearing a decision may not be made on the date they gave you.

    Thank you for your reply I was not aware I could request a telephone hearing I will consider this
